who is pictured above, both these girls are excellent examples
of the breed!
The weimaraner was used in the early 19th century by royalty
to hunt large game, such as boar, deer and bears... The
name comes from the Grand Duke of Weimar, Karl August, who
enjoyed hunting with the breed.
